Regular cleaning with warm water, soap and a soft toothbrush will lift dirt and oils from a piece. Make sure you rinse very thoroughly with water and dry with a soft cloth.
Silver items can be cleaned with ‘foaming silver cleaner’ or ‘Silver foam’. This product is a red paste that is applied gently using a damp sponge. The resulting foam cleans the piece and lifts tarnish. I recommend using a soft toothbrush to clean in small crevices. Be sure to rinse thoroughly in water and dry with a soft cloth.
When travelling with your jewellery, or transporting it, it’s important to protect a piece by putting it in a box. Jewellery should not be able to move around i.e. earrings should be each be wrapped separately in tissue within the box to prevent them from knocking against one another.
Plated items We cannot offer a warranty on plated items. All plating will wear down with time. The extent to which this will happen is variable. We offer a re-plating service for a fee of $40 plus shipping.
Gemstones- Care must be taken when wearing all fine gemstone jewellery. We do not guarantee against the loss or damage of gemstones. All gemstones, even diamonds, can crack or chip if they receive a strong impact.
If you believe your piece to be faulty please contact us as soon as you are aware of an issue. If it is deemed to be the result of faulty manufacture we will endeavour to repair it. Please note if this occurs beyond our warranty period or it is deemed to be the result of misuse, there will be fees to cover the repair/ replacement costs.
We offer one years warranty for our jewellery with normal wear. Exceptions include:
Misuse- Our warranty does not cover items that have been damaged through misuse. Excessive use can lead to metal being damaged and stones being damaged and lost. Please see our care instructions for information on how to avoid this.
